What do I get for free?
The whole game. Hosting, invitations, buy-ins, rebuys, settlement, your clubs, the feed, your full record, Weekly Leagues, Legacy and Achievements. No limits, no expiry, no card required. Nothing that helps a game happen is ever behind a paywall.
What does Player add?
Player is where your results become insight: the leak finder, your head to head record against every player you have faced, private notes on each of them, session recaps, a place in the Division Race and 10% off the store.
What does Ace add on top of that?
Everything in Player, plus 20% off the store and five clubs of your own.
Do I have to pay to enter a sweepstakes?
No. No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win, and a purchase will not improve your chances of winning. Free members earn Entries on everything paid members do. See the Official Rules for details, including how to enter without making a purchase.
Is a membership the same as a club?
No, and the two are not related. A membership is personal: you pay for it, and it changes what you can see and do on your own account. A club is a group of people you play with. Clubs have no tiers, a club is never bought or upgraded, and nobody's plan changes anything for anyone else at the table. Joining clubs is unlimited on every tier. The only thing a membership changes is how many clubs you can start yourself.
Is there an annual plan?
Player can be paid yearly at $99, which is around two months free against the monthly price. Ace is monthly at launch.
Can I cancel, and what happens to my record if I do?
You can cancel at any time and keep what you paid for until the end of the period you have already paid. Memberships bought in the app are billed by Apple, so you cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings, at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. Your games, your results and your history are yours and stay exactly where they are. What stops is the paid layer on top: the Player tools go quiet until you come back.
Does paying move me up a leaderboard?
No, and it never will. Nothing you buy moves you up a leaderboard or changes a result. Membership adds tools to read your own play. It does not touch anyone's standing.
