1About PokerVault
What is PokerVault?
PokerVault is the essential app for the home poker player. It is a social platform where poker players run their home games, build clubs, share the action, compete on leaderboards, and win poker-related prizes. One app combines three things: game management tools (buy-ins, rebuys, settlements), a poker community (clubs, feed, player profiles), and a rewards layer (entries, sweepstakes, and a merch store). PokerVault is built for home game players, not online poker, and not a casino.
Is PokerVault an online poker site?
No. You don't play poker inside PokerVault. Your game happens at your table, with your friends, with real cards and chips. PokerVault runs everything around it: invites, buy-ins, rebuys, cash-outs, settlement math, results, leaderboards, and the community that keeps your crew connected between games.
Is PokerVault a gambling app?
No. PokerVault never holds, transfers, or takes a cut of any money from your home game. Players settle directly with each other. Prizes on PokerVault are funded by PokerVault itself and are awarded through promotional sweepstakes. There is no rake, no house, and no wagering with PokerVault. See the Official Rules.
Who is PokerVault for?
PokerVault is for home game players: the people who play poker with friends regularly and want their game to feel like the event it deserves to be. If you host a monthly game, run a weekly crew, or just want your Friday night results to count for something, PokerVault is built for you. You don't need to be a pro. Most of our players aren't.
What does PokerVault cost?
Everything you need to play is free, and it stays free. Sign up, join as many clubs as you're invited to, host as many games as you like, invite friends, run your settlement, and use the feed, all at no cost and with no monthly limits. Paid memberships (Player and Ace) add the analysis of your results, a private notebook on every opponent, a hand coach, profile identity, a store discount, and a place in the Division Race. See the Memberships & Tiers section for details.
What platforms is PokerVault available on?
PokerVault is available on iOS (iPhone), with a companion web app at pokervault.com. The web app covers the basics; the full experience (live game management, notifications, moments, and more) lives in the mobile app.
Who makes PokerVault?
PokerVault is built by PKV Tech Inc., a Delaware corporation headquartered in San Diego, California, doing business as PokerVault. The company was founded by Ariel Soudak. PokerVault is a registered trademark of PKV Tech Inc. Contact: [email protected]. Mailing address: 5965 Village Way STE E105-247, San Diego, CA 92130, United States.
How is PokerVault different from a bankroll tracker or a poker timer app?
Trackers store your numbers. PokerVault runs your whole game, and everything around it. It handles the logistics (invites, RSVPs, buy-ins, settlement), then adds what no utility app has: clubs with identity and leaderboards, a feed where the action lives all week, and real prizes for the players who compete. It's the difference between a spreadsheet and a season.
How is PokerVault different from apps like PokerBros or ClubGG?
Those apps are for playing poker online with virtual chips. PokerVault is for your real, in-person home game. We don't deal cards, we make the game you already play with your friends easier to run, more social, and more rewarding.
What's the story behind the name?
The vault stands for what your game builds over time: your history, your stats, your club, your reputation. Every session adds to it. Nothing gets lost.
How does PokerVault make money?
PokerVault makes money from memberships and the merch store, never from your game. Players choose to pay for power features, status, and a place in the Division Race, and they buy gear they actually want to wear. That revenue funds the prizes, which means no rake, no cut of your table, and no player money ever behind a prize.
Are there ads on PokerVault?
No. There are no advertisements on PokerVault, on any tier, including Free. PokerVault makes money from optional memberships and the merch store, and that's it.
How can I support PokerVault?
The best support is simply playing: host your games, run your club, and bring your crew along. Beyond that, everything that grows PokerVault helps, and most of it earns you entries too. Invite friends to join your club. Buy merch at the store and wear the badge. Upgrade your membership to help us grow, and unlock more while you're at it. Share your wins to the feed, and tell the next table about us. PokerVault gets better as the community gets bigger, and the community is built one home game at a time.
2Getting Started & Your Account
How do I sign up?
Download PokerVault from the App Store, create an account with your email, and confirm it. That's it. You can join a club, host a game, or jump into the feed immediately. Signing up is free and no payment method is required.
Do I need an account to play in a game?
You need an account to be a club member, appear on leaderboards, and keep your history. But hosts can add guest players to a game without requiring them to sign up. Guests can be registered on the spot via a QR code or shareable link. Guests who create an account later keep building from there.
How old do I need to be to use PokerVault?
You must be at least 18 years old to use PokerVault, and you're responsible for complying with the laws of your state, which may set a higher age for social poker. Sweepstakes are open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who meet the minimum age for the state where they live: 18 (19 in AL and NE; 21 in AZ and MS). Void where prohibited.
Is PokerVault available outside the United States?
PokerVault is available in the United States. Sweepstakes and prize features are limited to U.S. residents. Broader availability is planned for later phases.
How do I set up my profile?
Tap your avatar to open your profile. Add a photo, your details, and your address (your address unlocks nearby-game features and is required for prize eligibility). Completing your profile also earns you sweepstakes entries.
What does my profile show?
Your profile is your poker identity: games played, clubs, stats, posts, followers, and upcoming games: your track record in one place. You control what's visible to others in your profile settings.
How do notifications work?
You'll get notifications for the things that matter: new games published in your clubs, game reminders, settlement updates, club announcements, and prize news. New-game notifications are on by default. You can mute a specific club or player anytime, or tune everything in Settings.
Can I use PokerVault offline during a game?
Yes. Live game management is built to work without Wi-Fi. The game manager's device keeps a local record during the session, and everything syncs when the connection returns. Your game never waits on a signal.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from Settings. If you own any clubs, you'll first transfer ownership to another member. That protects your club's members and history. Once confirmed, deletion is permanent.
Can I change the email on my account?
Yes, in account settings. You'll confirm the new address before the change takes effect.
3Clubs
What is a club?
A club is your poker crew's home on PokerVault. Every club has its own feed, members, games, leaderboard, photos, and identity. Games are hosted inside clubs: your Tuesday-night game, your college friends' quarterly showdown, your office crew. Clubs are where your game becomes a season.
Is a club the same thing as a membership tier?
No, and the two are not related. A membership is personal: you pay for it, and it changes what you can see and do on your own account. A club is a group of people you play with. Clubs do not have tiers, a club is never bought or upgraded, and no member's plan changes anything for anyone else at the table. A Free member and an Ace member sit in the same club on the same terms, appear on the same leaderboard, and play every game the same way. The only thing a membership changes inside a club is how many clubs you can start yourself.
How do I create a club?
Tap Create Club and follow the prompts: name your club, add a photo and description, set your location, and choose private or public access. You're live in under a minute. Then invite your crew.
How many clubs can I create or join?
Joining is unlimited on every tier, including Free: you can be in as many clubs as you are invited to, and an invitation is never blocked by a membership. Starting clubs is the only place the tiers differ. Free members can create 1 club, Player members 3 and Ace members 5. The cap is on clubs you start, not clubs you are in, and it exists to stop one person spinning up clubs to manufacture games rather than to sell you anything.
How do I invite friends to my club?
Open Invite & Sharing in your club and share the invite link or QR code, by text, group chat, or in person. You control whether members can share the link too, and whether invitees need manager approval or join instantly.
What's the difference between a private and public club?
Private clubs (the default) are invite-only, and every join request needs manager approval. Public clubs appear in club discovery, and you choose whether new members need approval or can join instantly.
How do I join a club?
To join a club, tap an invite link or scan a QR code from a member, search for a public club, or browse Clubs Near You. Private clubs will ask you to request access; the manager approves from there.
What is club discovery / Clubs Near You?
Club discovery is how you find public clubs beyond your immediate circle, by location and activity. It's how players without a regular game find one, and how growing clubs find players.
What can a club admin do?
The admin (creator) runs the club: edits the profile, controls access and invites, manages and removes members, promotes co-managers, sets notification and reminder defaults, configures the leaderboard display, exports club data, transfers the admin role, and archives or deletes the club.
What are co-managers and what can they do?
Co-managers are trusted members the admin promotes to help run the club. By default they can post announcements, approve join requests, create and publish games, manage players and buy-ins, and moderate posts. Some powers stay admin-only and can never be delegated: removing members, editing club settings, closing games, and canceling games.
Can I transfer ownership of my club?
Yes. Transfer Admin in club settings hands the club to another member. You'll become a regular member and lose admin permissions, it can't be undone, so PokerVault asks you to confirm twice.
What happens if I archive my club?
Archiving pauses the club without losing anything: all data, history, and leaderboards are kept, members stay, but no new games can be created. You can unarchive anytime with one tap.
How do I delete a club?
Go to Club settings → Danger zone → Delete club. Deletion is permanent: game history, settlements, leaderboard, feed, and the member list are removed, and members lose access immediately. PokerVault will nudge you to export your data first. Take the nudge.
Can a club admin export the club's data?
No. Data export on PokerVault is member-only: every member can export their own complete record, free, on any tier. There is no club-level export, because a club export would hand one member the financial history of everyone else at the table. Club leaderboards and game history stay visible in the app to the people who played.
Can I block someone from my club?
Yes. When removing a member, admins can also block them from rejoining, via link, search, or invite. Blocked players can be unblocked anytime from club settings.
Can I leave a club?
You can leave a club from the club's action menu. Your personal stats stay on your profile; the club keeps its historical game records.
Can I mute a club's notifications without leaving?
You can mute notifications from the club's action menu. You stay a member and can catch up on the feed whenever you want.
How many members can a club have?
Clubs don't have a hard member cap. Individual games are capped at 20 players (about two tables), and clubs can run multiple games at the same time, so big clubs simply run more games.
4The Division Race
What is the Division Race?
The Division Race is a season-long contest of skill that runs the full year. Every settled game you play scores you against the field you belong to. It is separate from the sweepstakes, and nothing you buy moves you up it.
Who competes in it?
Player and Ace members. Free members see the whole board, every division and every standing on it, they are simply not ranked. Upgrading puts you on the board; it never changes where you finish once you are on it.
What are the divisions?
Two at launch, split on the stake your club actually plays for. The Fifty is for clubs whose typical buy-in is under $75. The Century is for clubs at $75 and up. You race against people playing for what you play for, which is the whole reason the divisions exist.
Does my club compete, or do I?
You do. The race ranks members, not clubs. Your club supplies two things and only two: which division you race in, and how heavily your season average is weighted for how often your club plays. Everything else about the race is personal to you.
How is my score worked out?
Every settled game gives you a nightly score based on where you finished in the field rather than how much money you won, so a six-handed game is comparable with a ten-handed one. Your season score is the average of those nights, weighted so that two brilliant games cannot outrank twenty good ones. Only games with four or more players count, which is what stops two friends farming a night.
Why not just rank on money won?
Because money won measures the stake, not the player. A member playing $200 games would outrank a member playing $40 games without ever playing better, and the same member would climb by playing more often rather than by playing well. Finishing position, averaged and weighted, measures the thing the race claims to measure.
Do I have to play a minimum number of games?
Yes, so the board reflects a season rather than one lucky night. Qualification counts across every club you play in, not just one, and there is a floor on how many different opponents you have faced: twenty across the year and eight within an act.
Do my clubmates have to pay for me to compete?
No. Your eligibility never depends on anyone else's membership. There is no minimum number of paying members in a club and no club-level gate of any kind. Nothing you cannot control decides whether you can win.
How long is a season?
A year, divided into three acts of four months.
Can my division change?
Yes, if what your club plays for changes. Division placement follows your club's typical buy-in, so a club that moves its stakes moves band. It is not something you choose, and it is not something you can buy into.
Is the Division Race gambling?
No. Nothing in it is a wager. You pay a membership subscription, the same as any other subscription. No player's money is ever pooled and paid back out, and no one's result costs another player anything.
5Memberships & Tiers
What membership tiers does PokerVault offer?
Three. Free ($0) gives you the complete game: hosting, clubs, settlement, the feed and your full record, with no limits and no expiry. It is not a trial. Player ($9.99 a month, or $99 a year) is where your results become insight, with head-to-head records against every player you've faced, a private notebook on every opponent and a hand coach. Ace ($29 a month) is the top tier, with the deepest store discount. A tier is personal to you and has nothing to do with the clubs you play in.
What do I get for free?
Everything you need in order to play. Free members host unlimited games, join unlimited clubs, create 1 club of their own, and get the complete live game experience: the game dashboard, buy-ins, rebuys, cash-outs, verification, offline play, and full settlement with auto-balance. Every host tool is free too, including presets, recurring games, waitlists, reminders, and guest registration by QR code. The feed, hand discussions, achievements, and milestone posts are free. Your record is free and permanent: every game, every result, your profit and loss, and your club leaderboard standing, kept for as long as you have an account. Free members earn sweepstakes entries, plus bonus entries for hosting and for referring friends who join and stay. Nothing that helps a game happen is ever behind a paywall.
What is the Player tier?
Player ($9.99 a month, or $99 a year) is where your record becomes insight. Four things carry it. Head-to-Head Records: your same-table record against every player you've ever faced, showing your results and theirs across every game you've shared and who finished ahead. Player notes: a private notebook on every opponent that only you can see. A hand coach that will look at a hand and give you an opinion, and write you a short recap after every session. And a leak finder that shows you the patterns in your own play that are costing you money. Alongside those you get your lifetime profit graph, results broken down by stake, club, host, day and table size, filters, comparisons and charts, all your clubs in one record, Your Poker Year recap, profile themes, a custom player title, a Player badge, shareable rivalry cards, messaging beyond your own clubs, a 10% store discount, and a place in the Division Race. Your games, results and standings are free on every tier. Player is how you understand them.
What does Ace membership include?
Ace ($29 a month) includes everything in Player, plus: a 20% store discount, an Ace badge on your profile and posts, and creation of up to 5 clubs.
How do I upgrade my membership?
Tap Upgrade anywhere you see it, or go to Membership from your profile. The upgrade screen shows exactly what each tier unlocks. Upgrades take effect immediately, and so does your place in the Division Race.
Can I downgrade or cancel my membership?
Yes, anytime. Memberships bought in the app are billed by Apple through your Apple ID, so you change or cancel yours in your Apple ID subscription settings, at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. Your profile, your clubs, your history and your leaderboard standing all stay intact, and you're never removed from a club for changing your plan. What changes is the paid layer on top: the analysis tools go quiet, and you leave the Division Race board at the end of the period you have already paid for. Entries you have already earned stay in the draw and are never taken back.
What happens to my stats if I cancel Player?
You keep your record. Every game you've played, your result for each one, your profit and loss, and your club leaderboard standing stay visible on every tier, including Free, for as long as you have an account. What you lose is the analysis: head-to-head records, the lifetime graph, the breakdowns, filters and comparisons. Exporting your own record stays free on every tier, including Free. Resubscribe and it's all right where you left it.
Is there an annual plan?
Player can be paid annually at $99, which is around two months free against the monthly price. Ace is billed monthly at launch. Memberships bought in the app are billed by Apple through your Apple ID.
Why do I have to verify a phone number to upgrade?
Email alone is free to create in bulk, so a phone number is required in addition to email at the point you upgrade to Ace. It exists to keep one person from running several accounts into the same leaderboard, and it is the same reason only games with four or more players count toward rankings. Free and Player accounts do not need it.
6Creating & Scheduling Games
How do I create a game?
Open your club and tap Create Game. Set the date and time, pick the location, and dial in your game settings: game type, buy-in, max player spend, max players, rebuy rules, co-managers, and notes. Publish, and your club gets notified. The whole thing takes under a minute, faster with a preset.
Do games have to be inside a club?
Yes. Every game lives in a club. That's what gives your results a home, a leaderboard, and a history. Don't have a club yet? Creating one takes less time than shuffling up.
Who can create games?
Club managers and co-managers create and publish games (this permission is granted to co-managers by default; the admin can change it). Members join, RSVP, and can request to host.
What are game presets?
Presets save your game's setup (buy-in, rules, players, everything) so next week is one tap instead of six steps. Save any game as a preset when you create it, and start from a preset anytime. Manage your presets from the Create Game flow.
How do recurring games work?
Turn on Repeat when creating a game and set your schedule on the weekdays or weeks you choose. Set when it ends, after a number of games, on a date, or never. PokerVault automatically publishes each game about 7 days before its date, so your club always sees what's coming without you lifting a finger.
Who can create recurring games?
Recurring games are a manager and co-manager tool. That keeps the club calendar in the hands of the people who run it.
Can I edit one game in a recurring series without changing the others?
Yes. Each generated game is independent. Editing a single occurrence (moved to Thursday this week? new address?) leaves the rest of the series untouched. You can also edit the whole series at once: PokerVault shows you a confirmation summarizing every change before it applies to all occurrences.
How do I stop a recurring series?
From the three-dots menu on any game card in the series, choose Stop Series. The current game is preserved; all future games are cancelled and no new ones generate. To cancel just one night, use Cancel Game instead, the series continues.
What happens when a game is cancelled?
Everyone who joined gets a push notification immediately. Cancelling one occurrence of a series never affects the rest of the series.
How do hosts and locations work?
When you set a game's location, you either pick a host from your club (their address fills in automatically if they've shared it) or enter an address manually. If a member's address is private, you can send them a host request instead. Confirmed players get the address and a map link in their reminder before game night.
Can a player offer to host?
Yes, players can raise their hand to host a game from the game lobby. The manager confirms, and the location updates for everyone.
How do game invites and joining work?
When a game is published, club members get notified and can join with one tap. Managers can also add players directly, share an invite link, or approve join requests. Non-members who tap an invite land on a join page where new players can create an account right away.
What if a game is full?
If a game is full, join the waitlist. When a spot opens (someone drops, or the manager expands the game), the next player on the list is invited and notified automatically. Managers see and manage the waitlist from the game lobby.
How many players can be in one game?
There can be up to 20 players per game, about two full tables. Need more? Run concurrent games in the same club; PokerVault handles multiple live games at once.
What are game reminders?
Your club can remind players automatically: 48 hours before ("game this week"), 24 hours before (re-confirm your spot), and 3 hours before (address and map link to confirmed players). Admins set the club default; managers can adjust per game.
What is a low-player alert?
If less than half a game's spots are filled within 24 hours of publishing, the manager gets an alert: time to rally the crew or adjust the game. It's an early-warning system for your table.
What happens if I try to join two games at the same time?
PokerVault flags the conflict and shows you both games so you can choose. Accidentally double-booking is not possible.
Can I bring a guest who isn't on PokerVault?
Yes. Managers can add guest players to any game without requiring signup, register them on the spot with a QR code or link. Their buy-ins and cash-outs count in the game like everyone else's.
Does PokerVault support tournaments?
Cash games are the heart of PokerVault today. Tournament tools are next on the roadmap: blind structures and timers, a big-screen table view, tournament settlement, and club tournament series. Your cash game gets the full treatment first; the tournament night is coming. Want to know the moment tournament tools arrive? Sign up for the PokerVault newsletter, or turn on notifications in the app.
7During the Game (Buy-ins, Rebuys, Cash-outs)
What does PokerVault do during a live game?
The Active Game Dashboard is your table's command center: who's playing, who's bought in for how much, rebuys, running totals, and the live game leaderboard, updated in real time on every player's phone. The manager runs the game; players see their own view. You focus on the cards; PokerVault keeps the books.
How do buy-ins work?
The manager sets the buy-in when creating the game. When the game starts, each player's buy-in is recorded on the dashboard. Every chip that enters the game is tracked from the first hand, so the math at the end is already done.
How do I rebuy?
Tap Rebuy on your screen and the request goes to the manager for a quick confirm, or the manager adds it directly. The amount is logged instantly and your total updates on the dashboard. No napkin math, no "wait, how much are you in for?"
Is there a limit on rebuys?
The manager sets the rules, including a max player spend, when creating the game. PokerVault tracks everyone against those limits automatically.
How do I cash out?
When you're done for the night, count your chips and cash out on your screen, or have the manager do it. Enter your final chip count, and PokerVault records it against your buy-ins. Your profit and loss for the night is calculated on the spot.
What is cash-out verification?
Before a game closes, the manager verifies all cash-outs, a final check that every player's chips are counted and the table balances. It's the step that makes the settlement math trustworthy for everyone.
Can a player leave mid-game?
Yes, cash them out whenever they leave, and the game rolls on. Player left and coming back? The manager can bring a player back into an active game, picking up right where their stack history left off.
Can the manager add or remove a player mid-game?
Yes. Add a late arrival (or a walk-in guest via QR code) in seconds, or remove a player who's out. Every change is logged, so the game's books always reflect the actual table.
What if the table doesn't balance at the end?
PokerVault flags the discrepancy before the game closes, total cash-outs must reconcile against total buy-ins. Find the missing stack or correct the count, then close. No game settles on bad math.
What is Capture Moment?
Big pot? Bad beat for the ages? Capture the moment mid-game, photos and highlights that attach to the game and can be shared to your club's feed. The hand ends; the story doesn't.
Does live game management need internet?
No. Games run fully offline, the manager's device keeps the local ledger, and everything syncs when the connection returns. Basement, backyard, cabin in the woods: the game goes on.
Can two managers run the same game?
Yes, co-managers can help run the table. PokerVault keeps the records consistent, including through offline stretches, so multiple managers never mean double entries.
8Settlement & Payments
How does settlement work?
When the game closes, PokerVault calculates the result from the recorded buy-ins and cash-outs and produces the settlement: exactly who pays whom, and how much. One tap to close, zero arguments about the math. Every player gets the breakdown in the app and by email.
What is auto-balance?
Auto-balance is the settlement engine, it takes the night's results and works out the simplest set of payments so everyone gets square with the fewest transactions. Instead of six people passing money in a circle, PokerVault gives each player one or two clean payments.
Does PokerVault hold or transfer the money?
No, never. PokerVault does the math and shows who owes whom. Players settle directly with each other, in cash or through whatever method they choose between themselves, and then mark the payment as settled in the app. The money always moves between players. It never moves through PokerVault, and PokerVault is not involved in how you choose to pay.
Is PokerVault affiliated with Venmo or any payment app?
No. PokerVault has no affiliation, partnership, or integration agreement with Venmo or any other payment service, and PokerVault does not move, route, or process any payment. PokerVault records what happened at your table and shows the resulting balances. How players settle those balances, in cash or by any other method, is entirely between the players, happens outside PokerVault, and is governed by whatever service they choose to use. PokerVault is not involved in, responsible for, or a party to the transfer. All payment service names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
How do I pay someone after a game?
Open your settlement and you'll see exactly who to pay and how much. If that player has saved a payment ID, PokerVault gives you a button that copies it, and nothing else: there is no Pay button and no link into any payment app. You paste the ID into whatever app you and your crew already use, or hand over cash, and then mark it paid here. The person being paid confirms, and the night is closed out. Marking and confirming are two separate steps by two different people, which is what makes the record worth anything.
How do I confirm I got paid?
The payment is settled when you, the player being paid, approve it in the app. That approval is the source of truth, and it's what closes the loop on the night.
What if someone doesn't pay?
PokerVault sends automatic reminders until the payment is approved, and the player owed can nudge directly from the app. Payment reliability is also reflected in a player's credibility indicator over time, so slow payers carry their record with them.
Is PokerVault responsible if a player doesn't pay me?
No. PokerVault is a tracking and record-keeping tool, not a bank, escrow service, payment processor, mediator, or debt collector. Your game's money moves directly between players, and PokerVault is never a party to those payments. If a player doesn't pay you, resolving it is between the two of you. What PokerVault gives you is the clean record: every buy-in, rebuy, and cash-out entered during the game, the settlement breakdown, and who has approved which payments, all timestamped and visible to the players involved. In practice that record settles most disagreements on its own, because the numbers were confirmed at the table, not remembered a week later. PokerVault does not verify payments made outside the app, does not collect debts, and does not arbitrate disputes; we keep the data straight so you and your crew can.
What is the F&B (food and beverage) option?
F&B is an optional, club-level way to thank a host who feeds the table. If a club turns it on, players can chip in a voluntary donation toward the food and drinks the host provided, and PokerVault helps with the math, splitting a suggested amount across the players who joined that game (feeding 20 players is real money, and the host shouldn't carry it alone). Three things never change: it is always a donation, it is never required to play, and it is tracked separately from the game's results. Each club decides whether to use the feature at all, and any player can simply decline.
Can I settle multiple games together?
No, each game settles on its own, at the end of that session. It keeps every night clean, self-contained, and easy to verify.
Can the manager edit a settlement?
Managers can correct entries before the game is finalized. That's what cash-out verification is for. After settlement is published, the record stands; corrections happen between players, and the approval step protects everyone.
Will I get a record of my results?
Yes. Every settled game sends a results email, buy-ins, cash-outs, P&L, and the payment breakdown, and lives in your game history in the app. Your history is permanent on every tier, including Free. Nothing expires and nothing is hidden.
Why do the settlement screens look different from the rest of the app?
This is on purpose. Money screens are designed like a precise financial tool: clean, neutral, exact, because that's what they are. Your game's money deserves accounting-grade clarity.
9The Feed & Social
What is the feed?
The feed is PokerVault's social home, where your clubs' action lives between games. Results, hands, photos, polls, announcements, and leaderboard shifts, all in one scroll. Filter by All, My Clubs, or Games.
What can I post?
There are five post types: updates (text/photo), hand discussions, polls, game results, and announcements (managers). Post to your club or to the global PokerVault community. You choose the destination every time you post.
Who sees my posts?
You choose who sees your posts. Club posts are visible only to that club's members; global posts are visible to the PokerVault community. Nothing from a private club ever leaks to non-members, the feed only ever shows you content you have access to.
What is a hand discussion?
Post a hand, the situation, the decision, the result, and let your club weigh in with votes and comments. It's the post-game table talk, upgraded, with receipts.
What are auto-generated posts?
When your game closes, PokerVault can post the results to your club feed automatically: the night's story, told by the numbers. Winners get their flowers without anyone typing a word.
How do I report a post or player?
Tap the menu on any post to report it. PokerVault reviews reports and takes action to keep the community what it should be: competitive, social, and welcoming.
Can I follow other players?
Player and club profiles show followers and activity. Follow features expand over time, the feed already surfaces posts your clubmates and co-players are engaging with, so the good stuff finds you.
What are the membership badges on posts?
Paid members carry their tier badge (Player or Ace) on their profile and posts. It's status you earn by being part of what funds the prizes everyone plays for.
Can I message other players directly?
Yes. Every member, on every tier, can message anyone in their clubs and anyone they've played a game with, and anyone can always reply to a message they receive. Starting a conversation with a player outside that circle, someone you follow or found through discovery, is a paid feature from Player up. Game logistics (invites, reminders, addresses) flow automatically either way, so your group chat finally gets a night off.
Does PokerVault help me get better at poker?
Yes, and you don't need to be a serious player to get something out of it. Poker quizzes sharpen your instincts a few minutes at a time. Hand discussions let your club talk through real hands together, with votes and comments instead of judgment. Your stats quietly show you what's working: your best games, your trends, your progress night over night. When you're ready for more, Player and Ace members get a hand coach that will look at a hand and give you an opinion, and a short recap after every session. You don't study poker on PokerVault; you get better by playing your own game.
10Leaderboards, Stats & Player Profile
How do leaderboards work?
Every club has a leaderboard, updated after every settled game, and it ranks on Club Score. Club Score is a skill-based score rather than raw profit and loss, normalised so that results are comparable between a big night and a small one and between one club and another. It carries a twelve-game baseline buffer, so a player with three lucky sessions cannot sit on top of someone with a year of results. Only games with four or more players count toward it. Admins choose who can see the leaderboard. The club board is a separate thing from the Division Race, which ranks you nationally against members at your stake rather than against your own club.
Why doesn't the leaderboard just rank by money won?
Because money won measures the night you happened to have, not how well you played, and it cannot be compared across clubs at all. A $200 club would out-earn a $20 club every week without anyone being better at poker, which makes a national race between them meaningless. Club Score normalises performance so the ranking survives being put next to another table. Your profit and loss is still yours, still tracked, still on your record, and still exact. It just isn't the ranking.
What does the in-game leaderboard show?
During and after a game, the top 3 players are highlighted from the game's results. Bragging rights, updated live.
What stats does PokerVault track?
Your record is free and permanent on every tier: every game you've played, your result for each one, your profit and loss, your session history, and your club leaderboard standing. Player tier and above add the analysis on top: Head-to-Head Records against every player you've faced, your lifetime profit graph, results broken down by stake, club, host, day of week and table size, rebuy analysis, filters, comparisons, charts, and export.
What are Head-to-Head Records?
Head-to-Head Records show how you've done against every player you've ever sat down with. For each of them you'll see how many games you've shared, your result and theirs across those games, and how often you finished ahead, read like a tennis record. It's the honest version of the argument every home game has: not who took whose money on a given hand, which no app can know, but who comes out ahead when the two of you play. Head-to-Head Records are part of Player tier and above, and they get richer with every game you play.
What is Trust?
Trust is your reliability record: turning up when you RSVP, paying what you owe, and confirming when you have been paid. Paying within twenty-four hours counts for as much as showing up. An unsettled debt is the heaviest mark in the system, because a missing player is survivable and an unpaid debt is what actually ends home games, and paying late halves the penalty. Two rules govern who sees it. Your public profile shows only the positive traits you have earned, and those are permanent and can never be taken away. Of the Trust bands themselves, only the two highest, Reliable and Rock Solid, appear on your public profile. The lower bands are visible only to you and to your club manager. Nothing negative is ever shown to another member.
Can other people see my stats?
You control your profile's visibility in settings. Club leaderboards are visible per the club's display settings. Admins can even restrict leaderboard visibility to managers only.
Do leaderboards reset?
Club leaderboards can be viewed across time periods and nothing about your record is ever wiped. The Division Race is the one that resets: it runs a full year, divided into three acts of four months, and each act opens a fresh act board while the annual board keeps running underneath it.
11Entries & Rewards
What are entries?
Entries are your chances in PokerVault sweepstakes, and they are earned, not bought. You collect entries by playing, hosting, inviting friends, completing your profile, engaging with the community, and shopping the store. Your balance lives in your entries wallet.
How do I earn entries?
Free, in the app, by doing what you'd do anyway: set up your account and profile, log in, play in and settle games, comment in the Feed, invite and refer friends, create a club, earn badges, reach new Legacy Levels, complete a club season, and report bugs we can reproduce. Store merchandise earns 20 entries per whole dollar. Reviews, social follows or shares, game results and promo codes earn nothing. Every amount is in Schedule A of the Official Rules.
Where do I see my entries?
Your entries wallet shows your balance, how you earned it, and the sweepstakes your entries are in. You'll also get a notification when you earn.
Do my entries expire?
Entries apply to sweepstakes periods per the Official Rules of each promotion. Check the current sweepstakes page in the app for the active period and details.
Do I have to pay to earn entries?
No. You can earn entries free in the app, and no purchase is ever necessary to enter or win. A purchase won't improve your chances of winning. See the Official Rules for details, including how to enter without making a purchase.
12Sweepstakes & Prizes
How do entries and sweepstakes work together?
The entries and the sweepstakes work like this. One: you earn entries by doing what you'd do anyway (playing, hosting, inviting, commenting in the Feed, shopping). Two: your entries go into the PokerVault Q1 2027 Sweepstakes, which runs from January 1, 2027 to March 31, 2027, with a drawing every week and a Grand Prize drawing after it closes. Three: winners are drawn at random, verified, and announced. Free players are always in the game: free members earn entries just for playing and inviting. See the Official Rules.
How do PokerVault sweepstakes work?
The PokerVault Q1 2027 Sweepstakes runs from January 1, 2027 to March 31, 2027, with a drawing every week and a Grand Prize drawing after it closes. We would rather award a small prize we can actually fund than announce a big one we cannot. Entries you earn across the platform go into the drawings. Winners are selected through a verified random drawing process, and winners are listed at pokervault.com/winners.
Do free players actually win anything?
Yes, they can. Free members earn entries for hosting games and inviting friends who join, and no purchase or paid membership is required to earn, claim, or win. See the Official Rules.
How do I enter without buying anything?
No purchase is ever necessary, and a purchase won't improve your chances of winning. The Official Rules explain every way to enter, including how to enter without making a purchase: pokervault.com/rules.
Who can enter?
Sweepstakes are open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who meet the minimum age for the state where they live: 18 (19 in AL and NE; 21 in AZ and MS). Void where prohibited. Full eligibility terms are in the Official Rules of each promotion.
How are winners chosen and notified?
Winners are chosen by random drawing, run by an independent administrator, after entries are verified. We notify potential winners by email from [email protected] and in the app, never by social media, and we verify them before confirming. Confirmed winners are listed at pokervault.com/winners with first name, last initial, prize and a photo they choose, so anyone can see the draw is real.
Where can I see past winners?
The Winners page in the app and on pokervault.com lists winners as prizes are awarded. First names and last initials, real prizes.
Do I pay taxes on prizes?
Prizes are taxable income whatever their value, and winners are responsible for the taxes on them. PokerVault issues a tax form only if the law requires one, and if it does, you'll complete a W-9 before that prize is awarded. We can't give tax advice. See Section 11 of the Official Rules.
Is PokerVault affiliated with the WSOP?
No. The World Series of Poker® and WSOP® are trademarks of their respective owners, who are not affiliated with and do not sponsor or endorse PokerVault promotions.
Where does the prize money come from?
Prize money comes from PokerVault's own revenue: memberships and merchandise. No prize on PokerVault is ever funded by pooling players' money.
13Store & Merchandise
Where is the PokerVault store?
At merch.pokervault.com, and from the Shop link in the app and on the website. It is a real storefront with real checkout, not an in-app catalog.
What does the PokerVault store sell?
In the PokerVault store, you'll find gear worth wearing and equipment worth playing on: t-shirts, hoodies, snapback and dad hats, lifestyle pieces, and poker gear, including chips, plastic playing cards, dealer buttons, table tops, and accessories. Drops rotate; the good stuff moves.
Do purchases earn sweepstakes entries?
Yes, during the sweepstakes. Merchandise earns 20 entries per whole dollar. The number comes from what the item costs, so two members buying the same shirt earn the same entries from it. (No purchase is ever necessary to enter, see Sweepstakes.)
What happens to my entries if my order is refunded?
A replacement doesn't change your entries. If an order is refunded, the entries for the refunded amount are removed from later drawings. Entries already used in past drawings aren't affected.
Do members get store discounts?
Yes. Player members save 10% and Ace members save 20%, on everything in the store, every time. The discount applies to the shelf price at checkout.
How do I find my size?
Every product page has sizing guidance right below the Add to Cart button. Worth reading it before you order: we don't exchange items for a different size or color.
How do I track my order?
You can track your order from Order Tracking in the Customer Center, or with the tracking link in your shipping confirmation email.
What is the return policy?
All sales are final. We don't accept returns or exchanges, except for damaged, defective, or wrong items and shipping problems, which we fix at no cost. See Returns and exchanges.
Do you do exchanges?
No. Most of our gear is made to order, so please check sizes before you order. If we sent the wrong item or size, we'll replace it at no cost.
My order arrived damaged or wrong. What now?
Email [email protected] within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We'll send a replacement at no cost.
Where does PokerVault ship?
Merchandise ships within the United States. Shipping times and costs are shown at checkout and on the Shipping Information page.
Can my club get custom merch?
Custom club gear is on the roadmap. Today's store is PokerVault brand: wear the badge, rep the platform, earn the entries.
Is the merch made to order?
Apparel is printed to order rather than held in a warehouse, which is why the range can be as wide as it is and why nothing sells out mid-season. Poker gear such as cards and chips is produced in runs. Either way it ships from within the United States.
14Legal, Safety & Trust
Is playing home poker legal?
Home poker rules vary by state. In most U.S. states, social poker among friends is lawful when it's genuinely social: no one profits from hosting, and no fee or rake is tied to playing. PokerVault is built around that principle: no rake, no host profit mechanics, no house. You're responsible for complying with your own state and local laws, including age requirements. This is general information, not legal advice.
Does PokerVault take a rake or fee from games?
No, never. There is no rake, no cut, no percentage, and no hosting fee, from any game, ever. PokerVault's revenue comes from optional memberships and the merch store, never from the money at your table.
Does PokerVault handle my game's money?
No. PokerVault records buy-ins, rebuys, and cash-outs, and calculates who owes whom, but players pay each other directly, in cash or through their own payment apps. PokerVault never holds, touches, or transfers game funds.
Is PokerVault gambling?
No. PokerVault doesn't offer gambling. You can't wager on PokerVault, there's no game of chance for money, and no player's payment funds another player's prize. Sweepstakes follow U.S. promotional sweepstakes law. See the Official Rules.
How does PokerVault keep sweepstakes fair and compliant?
Here is how: published Official Rules, random drawings run by an independent administrator, and a public winners list. No purchase is necessary, and purchases don't improve odds. See the Official Rules.
What data does PokerVault collect and how is it used?
We collect the data that makes the product work: your account details, game and settlement records, club activity, and preferences. We don't sell your personal data. The full picture is in our Privacy Policy at pokervault.com/privacy.
Does PokerVault report my results to the IRS or any government agency?
No. PokerVault is not a bank, payment processor, or settlement service, and it files no reports about your poker results with the IRS or any other government agency. The numbers you see in the app are simply the records you and your club entered, displayed back to you. Your tax and legal obligations are your own: players are responsible for following their state's laws on social poker and for handling their own results appropriately under federal and state rules. If you have questions about your personal situation, talk to a tax professional or attorney; PokerVault can't advise you on that.
Who can see my home address?
You control what information can be viewed. Your address is only shared as a game location when you host and choose to share it, and only with that game's confirmed players, shortly before game time. Host requests let managers ask rather than see.
How do I get my data or delete it?
You can export your own full history as CSV or JSON at any time, free on every tier. There is no club-level export: each member exports their own record, and nobody can download anybody else's. Account deletion is in Settings. Club owners first transfer ownership so their members aren't stranded. Deletion is permanent and honors applicable privacy laws.
What are PokerVault's rules of conduct?
Play straight: real results, real identities, no harassment, no abuse of entries or referral systems. Clubs are moderated by their managers; the platform is moderated by PokerVault. Anti-abuse monitoring protects leaderboards and prize integrity. Full terms at pokervault.com/terms.
Is PokerVault responsible-play friendly?
Yes, by design. PokerVault has no wagering, no house edge, and no mechanism to chase losses on the platform. Settlement tools actually make home games more transparent and accountable. If gambling is a problem for you or someone you know, the National Problem Gambling Helpline is 1-800-GAMBLER.
15Support & Troubleshooting
How do I contact support?
Email [email protected] and tell us your order number if it is about a parcel. Email is the only support channel today; there is no phone line or SMS support. In the app, the AI assistant answers most questions instantly and can walk you through any action, any time.
What is the in-app AI assistant?
The assistant is a built-in helper that knows PokerVault inside out. Ask it anything. "how do I add a rebuy?", "where's my settlement?", "what does Ace include?", or have it walk you through an action mid-game. If it can't resolve your issue, it hands you to human support.
The app says I'm offline during a game, did I lose anything?
No. Live games are built for offline play: the manager's device keeps the local record, and everything syncs automatically when the connection returns. Keep playing.
I submitted something and the button greyed out, did it go through?
Yes, buttons disable briefly while your action processes, precisely so it can't be recorded twice. If a network error interrupts a submission, nothing partial is saved; just try again.
A payment shows unpaid but I already paid, what do I do?
The payment is marked settled when the recipient approves it in the app. Nudge them to confirm. That approval, not the payment itself, is what closes the record.
How do I report a bug?
You can report a bug through the app's feedback option or at [email protected]. A report earns sweepstakes entries when we confirm we can reproduce the bug, up to 5 reports a week. You make PokerVault better, and PokerVault says thanks.
How do I request a refund on a membership?
Memberships bought in the app are billed by Apple through your Apple ID, and Apple handles refunds under its policies, so request a refund from Apple. To cancel, use your Apple ID subscription settings at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. Deleting your PokerVault account doesn't cancel a membership billed by Apple. Merch order issues go to [email protected].
How do I suggest a feature?
Tell us at [email protected] or through the in-app feedback option. Home game players built PokerVault, and we welcome ideas from players like us!
How do I stay updated on what's coming?
Join the newsletter at pokervault.com. You'll get launch news, new features, prize announcements, and drops straight to your inbox. Members also get updates in the app and in their club feeds.
